Samudra Vijay, Ph.D., CISSP

Samudra Vijay, Ph.D., CISSP has a diverse work experience spanning over several industries and roles. Most recently, they served as President and CEO at SAM Analytic Solutions, a technology provider specializing in data collection, reporting, and information analytics solutions. Prior to that, Samudra worked as an ORISE Research Fellow at the US Environmental Protection Agency (EPA). Samudra also held positions at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, where they worked as a Postdoctoral Research Fellow, Research Assistant, and Teaching Assistant. Earlier in their career, Samudra served as a Faculty Member in the Mechanical Engineering Department at Sant Longowal Institute of Engineering & Technology, and as a Lecturer in Mechanical Engineering at North Eastern Regional Institute of Science and Technology (NERIST). Throughout their career, Samudra's work has focused on areas such as industrial automation and control, environmental research, mathematical modeling, and mechanical engineering education.

Samudra Vijay, Ph.D., CISSP completed their education with a strong focus on engineering and technology. Samudra first attended M.B.M. Engineering College in Jodhpur from 1985 to 1990, where they earned their Bachelor of Engineering (B.E.) degree in Mechanical Engineering. Following this, they pursued their Master's degree in Nuclear Engineering and Technology from the Indian Institute of Technology, Kanpur, from 1990 to 1992. Continuing their academic journey, they then attended the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) from 1999 to 2005, where they obtained their Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Engineering Systems. Samudra Vijay's educational background demonstrates a dedication to the field of engineering, with a particular focus on nuclear and mechanical engineering. Additionally, their attainment of a Ph.D. enhances their expertise and research capabilities in the field.
