Mike Flynn

Mike Flynn is an experienced transportation planning and city strategies professional with a strong background in both academia and public service. Currently serving as Senior Principal and General Manager at Sam Schwartz since June 2014, Mike has held multiple leadership roles, including National Director of Transportation Planning and Principal. Prior to this, Mike was a Visiting Professor at Pratt Institute from 2009 to 2017 and held various positions at the New York City Department of Transportation from 2005 to 2014, culminating in the role of Director of Capital Planning & Project Initiation. Early career experiences include web development roles from 2001 to 2004. Mike holds a Master of Science in City and Regional Planning from Pratt Institute and a Bachelor of Arts in Computer Science and Philosophy from the University of Vermont.
