Syam Palakurthy

Syam Palakurthy has been working in the field of healthcare and technology since 2006. In 2006, they worked as an Intern at Spandana Sphoorty Financial Limited. In 2008, they worked as a Merchandise Planning Intern at Target and an Energy Markets Intern at EnerNOC. In 2009, they worked as an Associate Consultant at Bain & Company. In 2011, they worked as a Senior Director of Product at ClearCost Health. In 2016, they founded Chronic Care Management LLC, where they set up primary care practices to offer high-intensity lifestyle coaching for conditions like diabetes, hypertension, and high cholesterol. In 2018, they co-founded SamaCare, where they built software to streamline the prior authorization process for life-changing specialty medications.

Syam Palakurthy attended Valley High School before receiving a BS in Engineering modified with Economics from Dartmouth College.
