Ludovic Bontron

Ludovic Bontron is an experienced Embedded System Engineer with a strong background in medical devices and firmware development. Currently at SamanTree Medical SA since July 2021, Bontron has previously held notable positions at Valtronic, including Lead System Engineer for cell therapy and medical cordless screwdriver devices. Expertise includes embedded software development in C/C++ across various ARM architectures, compliance with IEC62304 and ISO13485 standards, and technical documentation such as Software Design Specifications and Design Failure Mode and Effect Analysis. Ludovic has contributed to diverse projects, developing critical systems for medical applications such as fluid pumps and centrifuges, and possesses proficiency in a range of technical environments and tools including Python, Qt, and multithreading on Linux. An engineering degree in Advanced Systems and Networks was obtained from Grenoble INP Esisar in 2015.
