Marc Leroy

Marc Leroy is an experienced Embedded System Engineer currently working at SamanTree Medical SA since November 2024. Previously, Marc served as a Senior IoT Engineer at Pix4D from January 2018 to June 2024, where Marc was a lead developer for the Crane Camera system, contributing to the creation of a certified autonomous solution for construction site surveying and documentation. Prior roles include Research Scholar at NASA Ames Research Center, where Marc developed locomotion control algorithms for tensegrity robots, and Teaching Assistant at EPFL, assisting with calculus courses for engineering students. Marc completed a Master of Science and a Bachelor of Science in Microengineering at EPFL and holds a Certificat de Maturité in Physics, Applied Mathematics, and Computer Science from Gymnase de Beaulieu. Military service was completed with the Schweizer Armee as a Strategic Radio Explorer, providing instruction on classified electronic equipment.
