Douglas Emerich

Douglas Emerich is a Senior Mining Engineer with extensive experience in strategic mine planning, currently working at Samarco since June 2020. Prior to this role, Douglas held the position of Mining Engineer at Companhia Siderúrgica Nacional, focusing on short-term mine planning and scheduling. Earlier career experience includes a trainee role at Vale Fertilizantes S.A., where Douglas supported long-term mine planning and technical documentation preparation. Douglas holds a Master's degree in Mineral Engineering from Universidade Federal de Minas Gerais, along with multiple graduate studies in Business and Project Management, and Mining and Processing from IETEC and UFOP, respectively, as well as a Bachelor's degree in Mining Engineering from UFOP.
