Najla Ribeiro Nazar Lamounier

Najla Ribeiro Nazar Lamounier serves as the Diretora Jurídica, de Riscos e Conformidade at Samarco since June 2010, overseeing all legal decisions within the organization. In addition to this role, Najla has held positions such as Gerente Geral Jurídico and Compliance Officer, focusing on the design and implementation of Compliance Programs, including the creation of a code of conduct and compliance policies. Najla's prior experience includes roles as Ouvidor and Coordenador Jurídico at Mendes Junior from 2007 to 2010 and as Gerente Jurídico Sr. at Telemig Celular S/A from 1999 to 2007. Najla obtained a Bachelor’s degree in Law with a focus on Business Law and Compliance from UFMG, supplemented by further education at Ibmec and Pucminas.
