Matt Oettinger

Matt Oettinger, MD, MBA, serves as an Adjunct Instructor at UNC School of Medicine's Department of Family Medicine while providing direct patient care and leading multi-disciplinary teams. With extensive experience as a Family Physician, Matt made significant contributions to patient care, clinic governance, and improved patient satisfaction rankings. Previous roles include Chief Medical Officer at CopilotIQ, Vice President of Population Health at Centene Corporation, and Senior Medical Director at Grand Rounds Health and Alignment Healthcare, where Matt developed innovative clinical strategies and managed diverse teams to enhance population health services. Matt holds an MBA in Strategy & Leadership from UNC Kenan-Flagler Business School and an MD from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, complemented by a BS in Bioengineering from Northwestern University.
