Beth Hefner

Beth Hefner currently serves as the Annual Fund and Event Manager for the Samaritan House of San Mateo County, a position held since December 2017. Under this role, Beth has successfully developed multiple annual appeals and acquisition campaigns, exceeding budget goals by over 135% and strengthening the donor pipeline through focused segmentation. Previously, Beth worked as the Development Manager at the Family Emergency Shelter from June 2010 to December 2013, where responsibilities included managing signature fundraising events, cultivating donor relations, and overseeing volunteer recruitment and community outreach. Earlier experience includes a role at the American Diabetes Association from May 2006 to August 2010, where Beth managed record-breaking fundraising events and forged collaborations with major corporations and media, raising over $500,000 annually while leading a large volunteer base. Education was completed at California State University - East Bay.
