Patty Anixter has extensive experience in nonprofit leadership and retail management. Currently serving at the Samaritan House of San Mateo County since October 2021, Patty previously held multiple roles at the Burlingame Library Foundation from January 2016 to May 2022, including Director, President, and Vice-President, as well as leading the capital campaign for the Burlingame Public Library. Earlier in their career, Patty worked at Mervyns from 1982 to 1991 as a Buyer in Product Development, where responsibilities included purchasing and merchandising for various product lines, and held positions at Joseph Magnin from 1972 to 1983, including Associate Buyer and Store Manager. Patty holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Business, Management, Marketing, and Related Support Services from Saint Mary's College of California and attended UC Santa Barbara.
