Dawn Atwood

Dawn Atwood has a diverse background in event management and community relations, currently serving as the Community Relations/Event Coordinator at Samaritan Medical Center since April 2021. Previously, Dawn held the position of Event Manager at Cornell University's SC Johnson College of Business, where responsibilities included planning logistics for numerous special events for alumni and major donors. Dawn's experience also includes serving as the Director of Sales and Catering at 1000 Islands Harbor Hotel, coordinating various events, and working as an event and wedding planner at Northern Outdoors, managing events for large groups. Additionally, Dawn has experience in restaurant supervision at Casa Marina, a Waldorf Astoria Resort, and holds a Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality, Sports/Event/Entertainment Management from Johnson & Wales University.
