Philip James

Philip James is an experienced accounting professional currently serving as the Supervisor of General Accounting at Samaritan Medical Center since October 2018. In this role, Philip oversees a team responsible for general ledger activities, accounts receivable, accounts payable, and financial reporting, ensuring the accuracy and completeness of financial records. Previously, Philip held positions as a Senior Staff Accountant and Staff Accountant, where responsibilities included financial statements preparation, collaboration on budgets, and managing day-to-day accounting activities. Prior experience includes working as a Finance Clerk at Transitional Living Services of Northern New York from October 2014 to October 2018. Philip is currently pursuing a Bachelor of Business Administration at Western Governors University, following an Associate’s Degree in Accounting from Jefferson Community College.
