Steven Bassett

Steven Bassett has a diverse work experience in the healthcare industry. Steven is currently the Vice President of Program at Samaritan Ministries International, where they oversee program operations. Prior to this role, they served as the Director of the Office of Strategic Services at the same company.

Before joining Samaritan Ministries International, Steven worked at Anthem, Inc. for over a decade. Steven'sroles included Business Change Director, Large Group Underwriting Director, Public Policy Manager, Senior Underwriting Consultant, and Underwriting Consultant. Steven played a key role in implementing change management initiatives, promoting innovative products, and supporting the development of new rating platforms.

Steven also worked at Health Care Service Corporation as a Senior Underwriter, where they underwrote large hospital consortiums and advocated for a market-driven health insurance concept. Additionally, they gained valuable experience as an Underwriter at Aetna.

Steven Bassett attended The University of Connecticut from 1989 to 1993, but did not earn a degree or specialize in any field of study.
