Richard Williams is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in design and public service. Currently serving as a Borough Councillor for Esher Ward at Elmbridge Borough Council since May 2019, Richard has also held the position of Former Mayor of Elmbridge. As co-founder and Chairman of Williams Murray Hamm since January 1996, Richard established the firm as a unique creative alternative in the design industry. Previous roles include serving as a listening volunteer for Samaritans, an advisor at Branded, and director positions at Writtle Group and Design Bridge, where Richard was a founder and managing director. Richard began a career in design at Sainsbury's as Senior Designer and worked at Allied International Designers, focusing on retail design and corporate identity. Richard holds a BA in Design from the University of the Arts London and completed a Foundation Course in Graphic Design at Colchester College of Art.
