Sydney Wyatt

Sydney Wyatt's work experience includes various roles in different companies. Sydney currently works at Samba Scientific as an Account Manager, starting in February 2023. Prior to this, they held the position of Associate Account Manager and Intern at the same company. From 2016 to 2022, Sydney worked as a PHD Candidate at UC Davis, specifically focusing on sex determination and early gonad development in zebrafish. Sydney also conducted research on the role of gap junction proteins in early gonad development. Sydney's previous experience includes working as a Laboratory Assistant at the University of Utah Department of Pharmacology & Toxicology, where they contributed to a project on targeted drug therapies for breast cancer. Sydney also conducted independent research on identifying causative mutations in patients with familial adenomatous polyposis at the Huntsman Cancer Institute. Sydney's earliest work experience was as a Technical Support representative for Apple's At Home Adviser program, where they assisted customers with technical and hardware issues for Apple devices.

Sydney Wyatt completed their Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Biology, General at the University of Utah in 2016. During their time there, they obtained an Honors Certificate and became an Undergraduate Research Scholar. From 2016 to 2021, Sydney pursued their Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) degree in Integrative Genetics and Genomics at the University of California, Davis.
