Alvir Navin

Alvir Navin is the co-founder and COO of Samba TV. Alvir previously worked as the Director of Content Services at BitTorrent, Inc. from October 2005 to October 2008. In this role, they managed a cross-functional team including ad operations, editorial, content encoding & ingestion, and support. Alvir also oversaw an editorial calendar with content from over 70+ content providers to ensure timeliness and relevance.

Navin has also source, implemented, and managed ad servers and ad networks across BitTorrent.com and uTorrent.com, for both site/display advertising, as well as video advertising. Alvir has also performed ad sales, and ad operations (order management, trafficking, creative handling, quality assurance, monitoring, optimization, reporting, reconciliation, and billing) across several territories.

Alvir Navin completed their undergraduate degree at the University of California, Davis in Philosophy/Religious Studies.
