Balamurugan Marimuthu

Balamurugan Marimuthu is a Principal Software Engineer at SambaNova Systems, with extensive experience in software development for Deep Learning systems, focusing on graph optimizations and MLIR-based DL compilers. Currently serving as a Graduate Research Assistant under Professor Dimitrios Skarlatos at Carnegie Mellon University, Balamurugan has also held roles as a Graduate Teaching Assistant in various engineering courses and previously interned as a Senior Software Engineer at SambaNova. Prior experience includes a Senior CAD Engineer position at Cypress Semiconductor Corporation, where Balamurugan contributed to design automation and methodology exploration, and an Android development internship at RoofandFloor. Balamurugan holds a Master of Science in Electrical and Computer Engineering from Carnegie Mellon University and a Bachelor of Technology in Electronics and Communication Engineering.
