Ankita Sadana is an experienced professional in strategy and partnerships, currently serving as a Consultant at Sambodhi Research and Communications Pvt. Ltd. since August 2022, following roles as Manager in both Strategy and Partnerships and Business Development. Prior to this, Ankita served as a Project Manager at Afroz Shah Foundation and as a Project Associate at TERI - The Energy and Resources Institute. Ankita’s early career includes positions as a Weltwärts South-North International Exchange Volunteer at KURVE Wustrow, Research Internships at the Centre for Advocacy and Research and Solidaridad Network, and a volunteer role at TERI-Genpact Campus Impact Challenge. Educational qualifications include a Master of Arts in Sustainable Development Practices from TERI School of Advanced Studies, along with a Bachelor of Arts in Sociology from Janki Devi Memorial College as well as Delhi University.

Over the past decade, we have pioneered cutting-edge methodologies for evaluation of large-scale interventions across sectors and themes including public health, nutrition, sanitation, natural resources, renewable energy, livelihoods and microfinance. Sambodhi also works towards enhancing appreciation of evidence-based functioning among development organisations and practitioners. As part of our field-building effort, we co-founded the Community of Evaluators-South Asia (CoE-SA); are home to the South Asian Journal for Evaluation in Practice (SAJEP) – first-of-its-kind peer reviewed journal on evaluation from this region; and have trained more than 5,000 professionals on M&E and related areas.
