Lakshmi Soma

Lakshmi Soma is a Research Manager at Sambodhi Research and Communications Pvt. Ltd., with a focus on liaising with government officials for the implementation of monitoring and evaluation studies across various states in India. Lakshmi has extensive experience working with central and state governments, multilateral organizations, and financial institutions, providing advisory services in social and financial inclusion, sustainable development, and climate-smart policies. Prior to this role, Lakshmi served as Deputy Manager Research Development, where a framework was designed for assessing numerous cluster level federations and self-help groups. Lakshmi began a career in research with a summer internship at Bihar Rural Livelihoods Promotion Society, where a study design was developed to evaluate the eco-tourism industry in Bihar. Lakshmi holds a postgraduate degree in Management from the Indian Institute of Forest Management and a Bachelor of Engineering in Computer Science from Rajiv Gandhi Prodyogiki Vishwavidyalaya.
