Shipra Prakash is a seasoned research professional with significant experience in program monitoring, qualitative analysis, and social and economic empowerment. Currently serving as a Research Manager at Sambodhi Research and Communications Pvt. Ltd. since May 2022, Shipra previously worked at IPE Global Limited as a Monitoring, Evaluation, and Learning Qualitative Analyst, where responsibilities included managing large databases and conducting qualitative research to identify implementation challenges. Prior roles involved evaluating centrally sponsored schemes for the Government of India's NITI Aayog and contributing to various social projects through internships at organizations such as Kudumbashree National Resource Organisation and Niramaya Health Foundation. Shipra holds a Master of Arts in Social Work focused on Equity and Justice for Children & Family from the Tata Institute of Social Sciences and a Bachelor of Arts in Economics from Delhi University.

Sambodhi also works towards enhancing appreciation of evidence-based functioning among development organisations and practitioners. As part of our field-building effort, we co-founded the Community of Evaluators-South Asia (CoE-SA); are home to the South Asian Journal for Evaluation in Practice (SAJEP) – first-of-its-kind peer reviewed journal on evaluation from this region; and have trained more than 5,000 professionals on M&E and related areas.
