Ben Bowler

Ben Bowler has extensive experience in corporate finance and treasury operations, currently serving as Treasurer at Matson, Inc. since March 2012, focusing on investment strategy and pension management. As a Board Trustee and Chairman of the Investment Committee for SamCERA since 2008, Ben oversees a $2.4 billion retirement fund. Previous roles include Assistant Treasurer at Con-way Inc., where responsibilities encompassed pension portfolio management and capital expenditure analysis, as well as Vice President at Logair, LLC, specializing in asset divestiture and client advisory. Ben’s career also includes positions in investor relations and finance with CNF Transportation Inc., Emery Worldwide, CF Inc., and others. Educational qualifications include an MBA from Pepperdine University and a BA in Geography from San Diego State University, with additional training from The Wharton School.
