Joseph Mannes

Joseph Mannes, CFA has a diverse work experience spanning several industries and roles. Joseph started their career as a Managing Director at Rauscher Pierce Refsnes from September 1987 to January 1995. Joseph then served as the CFO at E-Certify Corporation from 1999 to 2000 and at Clearwire Technologies from 1998 to 2001. In 2001, they became the President of SAMCO Capital Markets, Inc., a broker/dealer specializing in financial services. From 2007 to 2008, they worked as the COO at Commerce Street Capital. More recently, they have been involved in board roles, serving as the Audit Chair at DXP Enterprises, Inc. since March 2020 and as the Chairman of the Board at Tandy Leather Factory from 2013 to 2017.

Joseph Mannes, CFA holds an MBA degree in Finance/Accounting, which they obtained from The Wharton School between 1980 and 1982. Prior to that, they completed their undergraduate studies at Dartmouth College, earning an AB degree in Philosophy/French from 1976 to 1980. In addition to their educational background, Joseph Mannes has obtained various certifications including the Chartered Financial Analyst designation from the CFA Institute in September 1994. Joseph also holds certifications from US Lacrosse, including the Official Level 3 (Women's) certification obtained in July 2019. Furthermore, they have obtained multiple licenses related to municipal advisory, general securities, investment banking, operations professional, securities trading, and research analysis from FINRA.
