Dirk Frouws

Dirk Frouws is a Senior Advisor in EU Public Affairs at Samenwerkingsverband Noord-Nederland (SNN) since September 2020, previously holding the position of Advisor EU Public Affairs. Prior experience includes a Consultant role at RPP Group and serving as an Accredited Parliamentary Assistant at the European Parliament, where involvement in the AFET and SEDE committees took place. Dirk Frouws also completed a Schuman Traineeship at the European Parliament, focusing on external policies within the AFET committee's Secretariat, and assisted with the coordination of the EU Policy Studies graduate program at James Madison University. Academic qualifications comprise a Laurea Magistrale in International Relations and European Studies from Università degli Studi di Firenze, a Bachelor's degree in European Studies from Maastricht University, and participation in the Fulbright Campus Scholarship Program at Lewis & Clark College.
