Raju Gudipati has worked in a variety of roles in the retail industry since 2002. RAJU began their career as a Field Executive at BASIX, where they were responsible for developing and managing finance functions in a block of 100 villages. In 2006, they moved to Spencer's Retail Limited as an Assistant Manager, where they were responsible for sourcing and supply of staples, private label management, and institutional and B2B sales. In 2007, they joined Reliance Retail Ltd. as a Manager of Food (Staples), where they were responsible for assortment planning, merchandising, and category performance review. In 2010, they joined Aditya Birla Retail Ltd. as a Senior Manager of Staples (Food), where they were responsible for national category head for cereals, category business plan, sales and margin, and inventory and working capital management. In 2013, they moved to Heritage Retail Ltd. as a Manager of Staples, where they were responsible for handling buying and merchandising of all categories of staples, and for business plan, sale and margin. In 2014, they joined Shivashakthi Biotechnologies Ltd. as an Assistant General Manager, where they were responsible for business head for organic food category, driving sales through various channels, and procurement and supply chain management. In 2022, they joined Samhitha Crop Care Clinics as Head of Services and Modern Trade, where they are responsible for driving new business from strategy to execution, developing business models which are customer focused, growth oriented and sustainable, and business development with new products, categories and markets.

Raju Gudipati's education history includes a Post Graduate Diploma in Business Entrepreneurship and Management (PGDBEM) from the Entrepreneurship Development Institute of India (EDI) Ahmedabad, which they completed in 2003. Prior to that, they obtained an MSc in Genetics and Plant Breeding from Chhattisgarh Jobs in 2001.
