Jared T. Stokes, EdD, MA, MPH, CHES, currently serves as a Public Health Advisor at the Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration (SAMHSA) since October 2020, leading initiatives such as the Tribal Law and Order Act Interdepartmental Coordinating Committee and overseeing accreditation efforts with the Accreditation Council for Pharmacy Education. Previously, Stokes held a Chair position on the Board of Directors for Project Overcome, Inc., and worked as an ORISE Fellow at the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services. Stokes has diverse teaching and mentorship experience from roles at Stamford Public Schools, Horizons Student Enrichment, and Youth Digital. Educational qualifications include a Doctor of Education and a Master of Arts in Health Education from Columbia University, a Master of Public Health from Drexel University, and a Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology and Exercise Science from The George Washington University.
