Julia Egler

Julia Egler is a skilled public health advisor currently employed by the Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration (SAMHSA) since March 2024, where Julia has developed expertise in the Certified Community Behavioral Health Clinic (CCBHC) program and provides tailored technical assistance to grantees. Previous experience includes serving as an LGBTQI+ policy analyst at the Center for American Progress and as a program specialist focused on mental health policy and planning at Texas Health and Human Services, where Julia contributed to significant legislative efforts and collaborative initiatives. Julia has also gained valuable experience in diverse roles, such as creating support systems for youth and families, providing case management, and enhancing mental health service delivery across various organizations. Julia holds a Master of Social Work from The University of Texas at Austin and a Bachelor of Arts in History from Saint Joseph's University.
