Samuel Parish, MD, FASAM, currently serves as an Addiction Medicine/Family Medicine Physician at Roper St. Francis Healthcare since October 2023. Previously, Samuel has held significant roles including Opioid Response Network Treatment Expert for the Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration, and Addiction Medicine Physician at Lee Memorial Behavioral Health Center. As an Assistant Professor of Family Medicine at the University of Central Florida College of Medicine, and Teaching Faculty for Addiction Medicine at Naples Community Hospital, Samuel has dedicated efforts to education and treatment in addiction medicine. Earlier positions include Chief Medical Officer for Neighborhood Health FQHC, and Family Medicine Physician at Physicians Regional Medical Group. Samuel’s extensive experience also includes urgent care and minor emergency medicine at Commonwealth Health Corporation. Educational background includes a Doctor of Medicine degree from the University of Kentucky College of Medicine and a Bachelor of Science in Biology from Indiana State University of Evansville.
