David Attaway

David Attaway has a diverse work experience spanning over two decades. David began their career as a Senior Auditor at Ernst & Young from 1995 to 1999. David then worked as the SEC Reporting Manager at AIMCO in 2001. In the same year, they joined RBC Insurance as the Director of Finance until 2010. From 2002 to 2017, they served as the Senior Vice President and CFO at Athene USA. In 2009, they became a Board member and Treasurer at Pendleton Place Children's Shelter until 2012. In 2018, they took on the role of Vice President Corporate Accounting at Sammons Financial Group Member Companies before being promoted to the position of Vice President, CFO, and Treasurer in 2019. Additionally, in 2018, they became the President of the Board of Directors at Children & Families of Iowa.

David Attaway attended Clemson University from 1991 to 1995, where they obtained a Bachelor's degree in Accounting. David also holds a certification as a Certified Public Accountant from the South Carolina Board of Accountancy, which was obtained in 1998.
