Wellesly Vaai

Wellesly Vaai has extensive experience in engineering and maintenance, currently serving as an Operations & Maintenance Engineer in the Rural Division at Samoa Water Authority since April 2018. In this role, Wellesly develops maintenance schedules and allocates resources to ensure clean and reliable drinking water, focusing on preventative maintenance for pipelines, water catchments, and treatment systems. Previous experience includes an internship as a Mechanical Technologist at Electric Power Corporation, where Wellesly performed service checks on diesel generators and renewable energy sources, and a position as an Assistant Storage Manager at Cuchi Ltd. Education includes a degree in Mechanical Engineering Technology from Auckland University of Technology, as well as studies in Civil Engineering and foundational science at other institutions.
