Bas Louwman

Bas Louwman has had a long and varied career in the corporate world. Bas began their career in 2012 as an Internship Project Manager at BP, followed by a role as Chairman of the 36th STAR Board at the Rotterdam School of Management in 2013. In 2014, they worked as an Asset Analyst and Internship Digital Strategy at KPMG Netherlands. In 2015, they became a Member of the University Council at Erasmus University Rotterdam. From 2017 to 2020, they worked at Bain & Company as a Consultant, Senior Associate Consultant, and Associate Consultant. Since 2020, they have been the Head of Product (Data Acquisition) and Customer Onboarding, as well as the Head of Customer Onboarding and Head of Organization & People, at Samotics.

Bas Louwman began their educational journey in 2003 when they attended Ostrea Lyceum and obtained a VWO+ in Nature & Health. In 2009, they moved to Ghent University, where they received a Bachelor in Veterinary Medicine. In 2010, they returned to Rotterdam School of Management, Erasmus University and obtained a Bachelor in Business Administration in 2014. Bas then continued their education at Rotterdam School of Management, Erasmus University and is currently pursuing a Master's Degree in Business Information Management.
