Klaus Krarup-Christensen has a diverse and extensive work experience spanning over several companies and industries. Klaus currently serves as the Head of Fund Administration at Sampension, a position they have held since September 2023. Prior to this, Klaus worked at Axxsys Consulting where they held various roles, including Global Head of Investment Servicing Technology and Director, from June 2016 to September 2021. Additionally, they were the Head of Fund Management & Investment Technology at PFA Pension from July 2009 to June 2016, overseeing Fund Operations, Middle Office, Business Development, and Investment Technology. Klaus also worked at Nordea Markets as a Sales Manager for Nordea Prime Finance from January 2008 to June 2009. Before that, they were at SimCorp, where they served as the Chief Consultant, Domain Manager from May 2004 to December 2007. Prior to SimCorp, Klaus held the position of Head of Business Development at VP Securities Services from June 2003 to May 2004. Klaus also worked at SimCorp Benelux as the Head of Presales & Consulting from January 2000 to June 2003, and earlier as the Head of Presales & Special Implementation Team from January 1997 to December 1999. Further back in their career, Klaus was a Financial Analyst at Danske Bank from February 1995 to January 1997, specializing in quantitative modeling of derivatives valuations and Danish mortgage bonds. Klaus started their career at SimCorp as a Senior Business Consultant from February 1993 to January 1995, developing bespoke software modules for pension funds, insurance companies, and mortgage institutions.

Klaus Krarup-Christensen completed their Matematik-fysik degree at Stenhus Gymnasium from 1983 to 1986. Klaus then pursued further education and obtained an MSc. Mathematics-Economics degree (cand.scient.oecon) at Københavns Universitet - University of Copenhagen from 1986 to 1993. During their studies, Klaus focused on various subjects including Mathematics, Statistics, Finance, Economics, and Actuarial science.
