Roy Daugherty

Roy Daugherty has extensive work experience in the digital sales and marketing industry. Roy currently holds the position of VP of Digital Sales and Services at Sample News Group, LLC since 2022. Prior to this, they worked at Lee Enterprises from 2016 to 2021, where they served in various roles including Regional Digital Sales Specialist and Digital Sales Manager & Senior Digital Strategist. Roy also worked as a Senior Account Manager at SōtirIS Information Strategies in 2016. Before that, they were employed at PA Media Group from 2013 to 2016, where they were a Senior Sales Consultant and later a Senior Account Executive, specializing in the banking and real estate sectors. Earlier in their career, they worked as an Account Executive at The Patriot-News from 2008 to 2012, as well as in retail sales and mortgage banking at Equity One Financial from 2003 to 2007. In the late 1990s, they worked as a licensed realtor at Remax Sterling Associates / Sterling Realty Group and as an Office Coordinator at Sterling Property Management, Inc. Roy began their career as a Manager & Auto Lender at Americredit Financial in 1997.

Roy Daugherty attended The University of Memphis from 1988 to 1994. Roy has not obtained any degrees or certifications outside of their education at The University of Memphis.
