Iris Cordova

Iris Cordova has over 20 years of work experience. Iris began their career in 1996 as a Volunteer with Foster Youth Mentor, Wendy's Kids, Inc. In 1999, they worked as an Intermediate Typist Clerk with the Los Angeles County Department of Human Resources. From 2007 to 2008, they held various roles with Waterford Unified School District as a Health Clerk and with CSU Stanislaus as an Assistant Coordinator and Public/Gov't Affairs Assistant. From 2008 to 2014, they worked for Avon as a Unit Leader/Independent Sales Representative. From 2014 to 2015, they worked as the Director of Public Relations for SampleOn. In 2016, they held two roles with CSU Stanislaus as an Administrative Assistant II and with Modesto City Schools as a Paraprofessional, Special Education and Substitute Typist Clerk II Translator. In 2017, they worked as a Workforce Specialist with Stanislaus County Department of Workforce Development. Finally, in 2015, they worked as a Program Coordinator with Waterford United Outreach.

Iris Cordova obtained an Associate's degree in Liberal Arts and Sciences/Liberal Studies from Los Angeles Valley College in 2005. Iris then attended California State University-Northridge and earned a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) in Sociology in 2007. After that, they returned to California State University, Stanislaus and began working towards a Master of Public Administration (MPA) but has yet to complete it. Finally, they earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Sociology from California State University, Stanislaus in 2014.
