Marcos Milla

Marcos Milla is an accomplished scientist and leader with extensive experience in biomedical research and innovation. Currently, Marcos serves as a Member of the Board of Patrons at Universidad Peruana Cayetano Heredia and as a Venture Partner at Samsara BioCapital. Additionally, Marcos is the President of The Milla Goni Family Foundation, which focuses on supporting marginalized communities in Peru through healthcare, food justice, and education initiatives. Previous roles include Chief Scientific Officer and Senior Vice President of Research at Synthorx Inc., Vice President at Adaptive Biotechnologies Corp., and various leadership positions at Janssen, Roche Pharmaceuticals, and the University of Pennsylvania School of Medicine. Academic credentials include a PhD in Cell and Molecular Biology from Saint Louis University School of Medicine and postdoctoral fellowships in lipid biochemistry at Duke University School of Medicine and protein chemistry at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology.
