Joachim Steen Larsen

Joachim Steen Larsen is a highly skilled Lead Scientist at Samsara Eco since April 2024, following a tenure as a Postdoctoral Research Fellow at The Australian National University from July 2023 to April 2024. Previous roles include serving as a Research Assistant and Laboratory Manager at the University of Newcastle from March 2018 to July 2023, and a Research Scientist at Det Natur- og Biovidenskabelige Fakultet, Københavns Universitet in late 2017, focusing on glycoengineering of mammalian and human cells. In 2016, Joachim was involved in the iGEM competition at the University of Copenhagen, representing the university and contributing significantly to lab work. Educationally, Joachim holds a Master of Science in Biology-Biotechnology and a Bachelor's degree in Biotechnology, both from the University of Copenhagen, and completed STX with a focus on Mathematics, Biotechnology, and Physics at Mulernes Legatskole.
