Emily Shi

Emily Shi, CPA, has a diverse background in accounting and finance. Emily currently serves as the Accounting Manager at Samsara, where they have been since November 2019. Prior to this role, they worked at Sunrun for five years as an Associate Manager, Accounting. Before joining Sunrun, Emily was an Accountant at Hager Accounting, Inc. from September 2013 to October 2014. Emily gained valuable experience in financial advisory at Deloitte from October 2010 to October 2011. Early in their career, Emily worked as a Financial Analyst at DundeeWealth Inc. from August 2008 to April 2009.

Emily Shi, CPA has a strong educational background in finance and accounting. Emily completed their Bachelor of Commerce (B.Com.) degree in Finance, General at the University of Toronto from 2005 to 2008. Emily then pursued further studies and obtained a Master in Finance from The London School of Economics and Political Science (LSE) between 2009 and 2010. Continuing their academic journey, they attended San Francisco State University from 2012 to 2013, where they earned a Master in Accounting. In addition to their education, Emily has also achieved the certification of Certified Public Accountant (CPA) from the California Board of Accountancy, although the specific month and year of obtaining the certification are unknown.
