Faisal Shaikh

Faisal Shaikh has a diverse work experience spanning multiple companies. Faisal currently holds the position of Director of Software Engineering at Samsara since November 2020. Before that, they worked as an Engineering Manager at Samsara from August 2019 to November 2020. Prior to Samsara, Faisal was an Engineering Manager at OVO Energy from February 2018 to August 2019. Faisal also worked at Sainsbury's, where they held various roles including Senior Software Engineering Manager from June 2017 to February 2018, Development Manager from June 2016 to May 2017, Development Lead from March 2015 to June 2016, and Software and Devops Engineer from July 2013 to March 2015. Faisal's earlier experience includes working as a PHP Systems Developer at 7city Learning from August 2009 to July 2013, and as a Senior Network/Systems Engineer at Webstar Ltd. from January 2005 to August 2009.

Faisal Shaikh obtained their Bachelor of Engineering degree in Computer Engineering from Savitribai Phule Pune University. Faisal pursued this degree from 1999 to 2003. Following that, Faisal attended the University of Essex from 2003 to 2004, where they earned a Master of Science degree specializing in Computer and Information Networks.
