Melanie Dazzo

Melanie Dazzo has a diverse work experience spanning over a decade. Melanie started their career in 2007 as an Office Manager at The University of Chicago. In 2010, they joined Polyvore as a member of the People & Business Operations team, and they stayed with the company until 2015. In 2013, they briefly worked as a G&A Operations Consultant at Nextdoor, Inc. From 2015 to 2016, Melanie was the Director of Talent & Development at Location Labs. Melanie then joined MindMeld, Inc in 2016 as the Head of People Ops & Recruiting. After that, they worked at Cisco as an HR Business Partner from 2017 to 2018. Currently, Melanie is the Director of Sales & Customer Outcomes Recruiting at Samsara, Inc, a role they assumed in 2018. Melanie has been part of the company since its early stages and has witnessed its growth from 300 employees to over 2000 globally.

Melanie Dazzo obtained a Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree in English from the University of Illinois Chicago, where they studied from 2004 to 2007. In addition to their degree, Melanie has earned the following certifications: Certified PLA Graduate from the People Leader Accelerator, obtained in May 2021, and Professional in Human Resources from the HR Certification Institute - HRCI, obtained in January 2015.
