Sharon Ovnat Tamir

Sharon Ovnat Tamir is an Associate Professor at Samson Assuta Ashdod Public Hospital since June 2017, where also serves as the Head of the Neurotology Unit and Chairperson of the Department of Otolaryngology/Head and Neck Surgery. In addition to current roles at Assuta Medical Centers and educational position at Ben-Gurion University of the Negev, Tamir holds an Honorary Fellowship with the European Board Examination in Otorhinolaryngology Head since November 2022. Previous experience includes being a Senior Physician specializing in Otological Surgery and Tinnitus at Edith Wolfson Medical Center and completing a fellowship at Beaujon Hospital in Neurotology. Tamir's medical education includes an M.D. in Otolaryngology/Head and Neck Surgery and an earlier MD with High Honors from Université libre de Bruxelles.
