Colleen Buffalo

Colleen Buffalo is an experienced professional in the fields of sports, culture, and youth development. Currently serving as the Athlete Coordinator for the Samson Cree Nation since April 2013, Colleen has a background that includes roles such as Office Manager at ISCA from September 2008 to November 2012 and Manager at Samson Recreation from January 1996 to September 2005. In the managerial role, Colleen oversaw staff, managed budgets, and coordinated community programs, while also engaging with parents and collaborating with other aboriginal recreation managers. Colleen self-employed from January 2000 to August 2005, developing the NIYA youth personal development camps—a program focused on community youth engagement. Educational qualifications include studies at Mount Royal University and Muskawachees Cultural College.
