Lydia Yellowbird

Lydia Yellowbird has over 15 years of experience in management and support roles, currently serving as the Manager at Samson Cree Nation since October 2010, where progress was made from the position of Income Support Worker to Manager of Income Support in April 2011. Prior experience includes serving as an Aboriginal Cultural Helper at Royal Alex Hospital from September 2007 to March 2009 and working at the Pe Sakastew Centre with the Correctional Service of Canada from September 1996 to June 2002. Lydia holds an Associate of Arts degree in Business Administration from Minot State University, earned between 1983 and 1990, as well as a Bachelor of Arts degree in Indian Studies from The Evergreen State College, completed from 1976 to 1980.
