Joon Jay Yoon

Joon Jay Yoon is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in the fields of biomedicine and data science. Currently serving as a Senior Scientist (Manager) and Expat Head of the Bio R&D Center at Samsung Biologics since July 2021, Joon Jay Yoon leads initiatives in the Data Science Group. Prior to this role, Joon Jay Yoon worked as a Postdoctoral Research Associate at Harvard T.H. Chan School of Public Health from August 2019 to July 2021. Joon Jay Yoon's earlier roles include Senior Research Consultant and Research Consultant at C&K Genomics from March 2016 to July 2019, along with an internship at Seoul National University's Bioinformatics and Biostatistics Lab in 2012-2013. Holding a PhD in Biomathematics, Bioinformatics, and Computational Biology from Seoul National University and a Bachelor of Science in Exercise Physiology from the University of California, Davis, Joon Jay Yoon combines academic excellence with practical experience in research and development.
