Jun-Youn Kim

Jun-Youn Kim has a strong background in research and development, project management, and technology transfers. Jun-Youn has held various leadership roles in companies such as Samsung Display, Plessey Semiconductors Ltd, Innoscoence, Samsung Electronics (LED division), and Samsung Advanced Institute of Technology (SAIT). Throughout their career, they have demonstrated excellence in problem-solving, streamlining operations, and achieving project goals on time and within scope. Their expertise includes yield enhancement, reliability improvement, mass production management, and leading R&D for GaN-on-Si LED and power devices.

Jun-Youn Kim has a strong education history in the field of Electrical and Electronic Engineering. Kim completed a Bachelor's degree at POSTECH from 1993 to 1997. Following this, Kim pursued a Master's degree in Semiconductor (laser) at POSTECH from 1997 to 1999. Finally, Kim completed a Doctor of Philosophy - PhD in Semiconductor Laser from POSTECH from 1999 to 2003.
