Manjunath Shantharamu

Manjunath Shantharamu has extensive experience in both academia and industry, currently serving as a Principal Engineer at Samsung Electro-Mechanics since May 2016, where responsibilities include leading AI-related projects and resolving technical challenges. Previously, in the role of Chief Engineer, Manjunath engaged with young talent to address real-world problems in manufacturing through AI initiatives. Prior to Samsung, Manjunath held positions as an Assistant Professor at Central University of Kerala and JSS College of Arts, Commerce and Science, focusing on courses in computer science, image processing, and pattern recognition. Manjunath commenced a research career at the University of Mysore as a Researcher while pursuing a doctoral degree, concentrating on video archival and retrieval systems.
