Chris Kang possesses extensive experience in the semiconductor industry, particularly in flash memory technology. Starting with internships at Ericsson and Barcelona Design, Chris advanced to roles at Samsung Electronics, culminating in the position of Executive Vice President, where responsibilities included leading advanced flash technology development. As a Principal Engineer, Chris was instrumental in the 6th-generation VNAND development and served as a technical lead on several notable projects, including Z-NAND and 48-stacked VNAND designs. Educational credentials include a Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from Yonsei University, a Ph.D. in Electrical and Computer Engineering from Purdue University, and completion of the Advanced Management Program at INSEAD.
