Jichul Kim received a PhD in Mechanical Engineering from the University of California, Los Angeles, in 2009. They are currently a Master (VP of Technology) at Samsung Electronics, working in the Digital Appliances division on next-generation semiconductor and PCBA integration technologies. Since joining Samsung in 2010, Jichul has held various positions, contributing to the development of advanced packaging solutions and system integration for consumer electronics, including smartphones and home appliances. They previously worked as a researcher at the Agency for Defense Development from 1999 to 2004.
