Karl Lam is an experienced design professional with a strong background in web development and online course design. From 2009 to 2013, Karl worked as a Front-end Developer for the Public Health Agency of Canada, contributing to the Skills Enhancement Program for Public Health. Prior to this role, Karl was a Web Designer at France Telecom/GOA for a brief period in 2008-2009. Karl dedicated nearly a decade to BCIT, serving as an Online Course Designer/Developer from 2009 to 2019. Currently, since July 2019, Karl is employed as an Interaction Designer at Samsung Electronics. Karl holds a Bachelor's degree from The University of British Columbia and an Associate Certificate from the British Columbia Institute of Technology, along with additional studies at Emily Carr University of Art and Design.
