Gottfried Gewessler

Gottfried Gewessler is a skilled Process Engineer at Samsung SDI Battery Systems GmbH since May 2020, specializing in developing joining processes for automotive battery pack production, including techniques such as wire bonding, heat-staking, laser welding, MIG/CMT welding, and riveting. Prior to this role, Gottfried served as a Student Assistant at the Institute of Materials Science, Joining and Forming from March 2016 to May 2020, where tasks involved the extraction and documentation of materialographic samples and assisting in failure case analyses.
