Sean Sungjin Ryu

Sean Sungjin Ryu has a diverse work experience spanning over 17 years. Sean Sungjin started their career at General Motors as a Program Manager, where they worked for 7 years. Sean Sungjin then joined Hitachi as a Consultant for a brief period, before moving on to POSCO, where they held multiple roles. At POSCO, Sean served as the Senior Sales and Marketing Manager in the Automotive Materials Marketing Department at the headquarters, and later as the Team Lead for Automotive Materials Sales and Supply Chain Management at POSCO International America and POSCO America Corp. Sean Sungjin managed various responsibilities including sales, marketing, supply chain management, negotiating contracts, purchasing, logistics, and customer relationship management. Currently, Sean is the Head of Group/Business Strategy at Samsung SDI America Inc., a position they have held since 2023.

Sean Sungjin Ryu has a Master of Business Administration (MBA) from the University of Southern California. Sean Sungjin also holds a Master of Supply Chain Management from Penn State Smeal College of Business. Prior to that, they obtained a Bachelor of Fine Arts (BFA) in Design from Kyung Hee University. Additionally, they have an Advanced Project Management certification from Stanford University.
