John then joined Samsung Ventures in 2019 as a Principal and later became the Managing Director in 2022. John also took on the role of an investor at Powin in 2022 and CarbonCure Technologies in 2023. Additionally, they served as a board observer at Raven SR in 2022, Soundable Health in 2021, and Human API in 2020 (acquired by LexisNexis). John was also an investor at Fabric until 2022 (acquired by Western & Southern Financial Group) and Radish Fiction until 2021 (acquired by Kakao).

John K. has a Master of Business Administration (M.B.A.) degree in Finance and Data Analytics from Northwestern University - Kellogg School of Management. John also has a Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree in English Literature and Business Administration from Korea University.
